I'm Alive!

I've been neglectful, and I apologize. An online journal is a difficult thing when you as well keep a smattering of accompanying personal logs. This is not to mention even, the attempts to stay in contact with everyone. It's tough, I'm not going to lie. Soon...and I wholeheartedly mean that...soon. Unfortunately I cannot update this evening, for I will be observed teaching by parents tomorrow morning, so I must prepare myself with a good night's sleep. I will offer you this - a photograph taken from an excursion this weekend (just know that anticipation can be a wonderful thing :)

Nothing like taking a cliche picture of a guy taking a picture (Note: the man in the lower left-hand corner with the camera phone.) Ha Ha Ha, just kidding. It looks beauatiful but cold, can't wait to hear about it.

What's funny is that the guy in the lower left is actually Mike, the person I came to the mountain with...ha ha, good eye though man

HI Adam,
I'm a friend of your dad's fromschool (and Mom's too.) My daughter just returned from Korea after a 2 year teaching stint, so Ienjoyed reading your blog and looking at your pics. I spent the last two summers in Korea and went over to CHina. Truly enjoyed the location. AREN'T THE SCHOOLS DIFFERENT? And how do you like the pit toilets you run into every now and then? And remember, carry your own kleenex or tp.

I've encountered the ever-present TP trouble many times here. At first it seems ridiculous, but when you consider the space they have for harvesting trees, you begin to appreciate why paper is rather expensive. Two summers in Korea...that's fantastic. That's the unbearably hot and humid time of year, but amazing just the same :) Where did your daughter teach exactly Sharon? Maybe I could email her if you send me her address via email...
